Stellar Radiance

May 2022

This is an experimental process.

We are infusing crystals, jewelry and other items with cosmic light, using astronomical optics in a ritual space. We concentrate cosmic light, from our solar system (Sunlight/Moonlight/Planetary reflected sunlight), from our galaxy (constellations and individual stars) or from other galaxies, into/onto/through various material items, from crystals, to water, to humans.

The process begins with preparation: Matching wishes to items to cosmic entities and moments.

For example, perhaps I have a diamond engagement ring. It is immensely special to me and I intuit that a cosmic light bath would enhance its meaning. I love the moon and feel connected to Venus, particularly in the context of this ring. It feels good to me to offer these energies to this stone. I would take time to quiet my mind and connect with the stone and the ring, asking to sense whether my impulse is coherent with the energetic possibilities of this beloved item. I might well receive a quite specific answer, which I would aim to record as accurately as possible, as soon as possible. For this example, lets imagine I perceive a clear yes, with a calm joyful heart, and the intuition to do the work already in this lunar cycle. (It could also be a no, which I would then also respect). It’s New Moon now, and looking at the night sky I see a good possibility: I could catch Venus close to Mars just before sunrise these coming days, and a fine young crescent moon, my personal favorite phase, in the evening before or after . Which configuration feels right? Feeling into it, I’m not getting a clear line. Is there something I’m missing? One session, with both celestial bodies? Then it would be after Full Moon, still in this cycle, so consistent with the information I have received, but on a waning moon? Rationally, that does seem like an unusual choice for an engagement ring. It feels good though and I sense it has a deeper context. I once again connect with the ring and with a little hop of excitement notice that it feels very right. Checking again how the skies will look then, I pencil in a pre-dawn date for two weeks’ time, make a note to start with preparations in the nights before, and start to go deeper in my own associations around the cycle of life and death. The more deeper and more expansive my inner coherence becomes by then, the better my craftsmanship will be.

The process is a gentle one. I will not force a crystal to accept my choice of illumination, but rather invite. In a connected state, in the community of life, I share our intention with the crystal. I will gather and concentrate the light onto the crystal. Someone will sing. What the crystal takes on, on a subtle energetic level, depends on the coherence of my choices with the capacity of the crystal, on the astronomical and atmospheric configuration, on the artistry of the group or individual doing the work, ultimately on the local and global etheric fields. I love this work. And how that subtle energetic impression evolves will depend greatly on its future context, on the cooperation with the person wearing it.
